It is not possible to reproduce all replies; so, we have selected the
following ones, which seemed to have a more general interest. So, you could
find, near the old details, the new ones.
QUESTIONNAIRE
In order that this WG could be operative very quickly, we asked the members of the Commission 8 to support the effort of the working group, first by realizing a general viewing on the present situation of the instruments involved in astrometry or related observations.
The questions put were:
1. Do you have any telescopes (reflecting/refracting) at your observatory
engaged in astrometry?
2. Would you describe it?
* Site characteristics (within the city, at a dark site, altitude)3. Do you intend to modify the existing instrumentation in the future?
* Telescope Type (refracting/reflecting)
* Year of construction
* Manufacturer (company or factory)
* Aperture
* Focal length/scale
* Limiting V magnitude
* Instrumentation: CCD camera (give its basic parameters), speckle camera, photographic camera, photomultiplier, coronagraph, etc.
Everyone could still reply to this questionnaire, especially to the questions 4 and 5!
Other two questions:
1. Have you free time at your telescope? Could you point us the available time and the conditions to use it?
2. Has your observatory the possibility to send people to work on another
telescope?
